2025 Brokenwood Pinot Noir
Supple and silky with juicy red to dark fruits and a complex savoury back drop.
Produced from Brokenwood’s Indigo Vineyard which is planted to three different clone types over different soils. Maturation took place in predominately used French oak barriques and puncheons for a period of 9 months. 30% whole bunch inclusion.
Semi translucent dark red colour with black toned edges and a light red hue. Perfumed nose with aromas of violet, red to dark cherry, strawberry and rhubarb blossoming out of the glass. Forest floor, dried herb and spicy cedar notes follow on. Juicy dark cherry, strawberry and rhubarb fruits flood the palate with brambly cedar, dried herb, forest floor and spice elements lending further complexity. Supple and silky, it possesses polished tannins, an understated power and ample freshness. Concludes long and savoury.
