Coming Soon - 2025 Bodega Chacra Cincuenta Y Cinco Pinot Noir
Patagonia, ARGENTINA
Cincuenta y Cinco comes from vineyards planted in 1955 which gently rest on a sea of pebbles, typical in riverbed soils. It is fermented whole cluster at very low temperatures, enhancing the floral characteristics of the wine. Cincuenta y Cinco has the highest amount of tension of all the Chacra wines while it still retains a comfortable ease.

Matured in a mix of concrete, oak and amphora, the 2025 Cincuenta y Cinco takes the citrus accents found in the Sin Azufre bottling and puts them center stage against a backdrop of red fruits with mossy undertones and the supreme delicacy that permeates the Chacra roster, developing an increasingly spry and lively energy with aeration. The mouthfeel delivers a beautiful mix of elasticity, tension, breadth and purity, all of which add up to a strikingly pure and expansive finish anchored by strident mineral textures, crunchy acidity and the saline accents found throughout the range. Continuously developing in the glass, this is a decidedly pretty and lifted expression of the estate, juxtaposing the deeper and denser Trienta y Dos bottling. Drink 2028-2037.

Strawberry, spice, nutmeg and orange peel aromas follow through to a medium body with fine tannins and underlying salinity. Crunchy, tight and classy. Only 11.8% alcohol. Drink now.

From 1955 plantings on gravel. 50% concrete and second fill and older oak. 100% whole bunch.
Cherry, red fruits, a whole lot of spice, aniseed, dried roses. Light to medium-bodied, all red fruited, a firm concrete feel to compact tannin offers grip, a cranberry crunch to acidity, with a fresh, sappy and spicy finish of excellent length. A super expression, light on its feet though it has no shortage of presence. Drink 2027 - 2038+.
