Certified organic Blicks Lane is the entry level label of Walnut Block. First planted in 1996 the Blicks Lane vineyard lies in the acclaimed Rapaura sub-region of the Wairau Valley.
Brilliant water like colour with faint tinges of green around the edges. Pungent aromas of passionfruit, ripe gooseberry and lime leap from the glass followed by some subtle green apple and herbaceous grassy notes. Bursting across the palate with terrific intensity are mouth watering passionfruit, lime and gooseberry flavours. Some green apple and delicate herbaceous grassy elements also chime in. Crisp minerally acidity finishing long and scrumptious.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
