2025 Bindi Kostas Rind Chardonnay
Macedon, Victoria, AUSTRALIA
Rich and powerful with a long, glossy textured finish.
Sourced from the 1988 plantings on volcanic soils over clay, Kostas Rind is whole-bunch pressed straight to barrel, with fermentation by wild yeasts and 10 months’ maturation on full lees (25% new oak).
Brilliant pale straw colour with gleaming green tinged edges and a watery hue. Intense white peach, nectarine and dried honey aromas intermix with nougat, crème brulee, cashew and delicate flint notes. Rich, concentrated and beautifully textured, the palate is engulfed with white peach, nectarine and dried honey flavours. Citrusy nougat, gentle spicy cashew and flinty mineral elements lend further nuance across the back half. Boasting outstanding power, depth and volume it has fresh underlying acidity and a long glossy finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
Alc. 13.5%

Plenty of fruit concentration from the warmer vintage while retaining lovely mineral tension and purity. Aromas of white orchard fruit and citrus with some floral lift alongside flint, salted nuts and wet stones. The palate is taut yet generous, with bright acidity and phenolic structure bringing a mouthwatering drive and balance. Always classy. This doesn’t disappoint. Drink or hold. Screw cap.
