A juicy, energetic red fruited Grenache with some tension to the fresh, elegant finish.
Made from 60 year old vines. Semi translucent red to dark red colour with black shaded edges and a vibrant red tinged hue. Fragrant ripe raspberry, liquorice and cherry scents evolve out of the glass followed by some delicate peppered earth and confectionary notes. Juicy, energetic red raspberry and red liquorice fruits dance across the light to medium bodied palate. Some red cherry, scorched earth, vanillin spice and pepper elements lie in the background. Polished fine grained tannins with some tension to the fresh, elegant finish.
