Ashton Hills Piccadilly Pinot Noir is blend of fruit from a handful of grower vineyards around the Ashton Hills estate. Matured in seasoned French oak for 9 months with 15% whole bunches included.
Semi translucent red to dark red colour with black shaded edges and a light red hue. Fragrant violet, dark cherry and strawberry scents flood the olfactory senses complimented by some clove, brambly cedar, rhubarb and forest floor notes. Delicious red to dark cherry, strawberry and rhubarb fruits flow across the palate with a supple, juicy feel. Spicy cedar, delicate clove and brambly forest floor like elements echo across the back half. Perfectly integrated, polished tannins with a long expansive finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
