Brilliant water like colour with green tinted edges. Pronounced lemon and lime aromas are trailed by wet steel and chalky mineral like notes. Zippy lime, lemon and Granny Smith apple fruits cast a racy feel across the palate. Crisp laser like acidity with wet steel and chalky mineral elements lingering through the long, driving yet taut finish.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.

As I shoved my generously framed nose into this glass of 3 Drops Riesling, a smile arose from deep inside. It. Smells. Delicious. Lemon sorbet, grapefruit juice and musk sticks. The concentration of fruit and perfumed florals scream plump cheeks, cheekiness and reckless confidence. In the mouth, there’s a great line of acid and vibrancy, cocooned in a pithy texture. The flavour is packed in: lime sherbet, pomelo and all the pith. There’s even a surprising pickled radish note to the finish. Germany comes to mind. It will put a spring in your step. Drink with a hot-girl dinner of carbs and laughs. Drink 2026-2034.

The spicy lemon rind aromatics are immediately striking in this positively exquisite riesling from the Great Southern. Three Drops has emerged as one of the best producers of this variety, and in a good season like this, it has really excelled. It’s fine and crisp, with a typically linear line carrying through to a very long finish. Crunchy, spicy minerality on the palate with a nice lick of acid to close. Super wine.
