Midnight black heart with a vibrant dark red hue. Fragrant red to dark plum, liquorice and dark cherry scents are interwoven with subtle smoked meat, vanillin cedar and peppered dried herb notes. Rich, succulent dark cherry, liquorice and dark plum fruits are backed by muscular tannins. Scorched earth, vanillin cedar and peppered meat elements sit in the background. Tense feel with a long, robust, grippy finish.

You must treat this right, which means decanting it, then following up with a big glass to further enjoy the heady aromas and bold flavours. Violets and roses, pepper and baking spices, with a whorl of the darkest fruit infused with mint and dark chocolate. The palate is full bodied thanks to expansive tannins, yet is so refreshing thanks to the vibrancy of the acidity. Drink by 2036.
