Mid weighted and generously fleshed with some inkiness to the pepper laced finish.

Pitch black heart with a deep dark purple hue. Peppery dark cherry and liquorice aromas intermingle with smoky vanillin cedar, earth and subtle spicy fennel notes. Mid weighted, the palate is generously fleshed with juicy dark cherry and liquorice fruits which overlay a spicy vanillin cedar, earth and peppered fennel back drop. Slightly grainy tannins with a youthful underlying freshness and a peppered earth laced finish that carries a slightly inky feel.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

So aromatic, full of pepper, pimento and a touch of clove. Florals, too. Very appealing. It’s a generous style of juicy fruit, all plums and blackcurrants, concentrated and rich, with plentiful, firm tannins and bright acidity to close. Just a touch raw, although in time, or with food, that will disappear. All things considered, including the price, this is terrific. Drink by 2034.
