2024 Turon Lenswood Vineyard Limited Series Chardonnay

A refined Adelaide Hills Chardonnay with fresh acidity and a finish that echoes pear, nectarine and gun flint characters.

Brilliant very pale straw colour with green tinged edges and a watery hue. Spiced pear and nectarine scents intermix with white peach, biscuity nougat, subtle dried honey and gun flint notes. The refined palate features pear, nectarine and white peach fruits over a biscuity oak, dried honey, citrus and gun flint infused back drop. Fresh acidity with the finish echoing pear, nectarine and gun flint characters.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

A toothsome chardonnay of lighter frame, compact nature, striking, chalky texture and a crystalline mid-palate and finish. Lean but flavoursome, with green apple juice, lime, saline minerality and a touch of alpine herb character. It slips along the palate elegantly and through to a long, fine point. It harks back to Chablis of old. A beautiful wine.
