2024 Triennes Rose
A gorgeous, slippery textured Rose, that finishes long, fresh and supple.
Triennes is a joint venture between Jacques Seysses of Domaine Dujac and Aubert de Villaine from Domaine de la Romanee-Conti and is located in the Var, to the East of Aix en Provence. It has farmed organically since 2008. Made principally with Cinsault, it also has some Grenache, Syrah and Merlot thrown into the blend.
Pale salmon pink colour. Alluring peach, raspberry and strawberry aromas drift through the nostrils with plenty of intensity followed by whiffs of musk, pomegranate and wet stone. Gorgeous slippery textural feel with delicious raspberry, peach and strawberry fruits featured over a subtle pomegranate, light musk and stony mineral back drop. Brisk acidity lends freshness to the long, supple finish.
