2024 Tiefenbrunner Merus Pinot Grigio

A Pinot Grigio of good intensity and generous texture with a long refreshing finish.

Founded in 1848 Tiefenbrunner is considered to be a benchmark producer in the Alto-Adige region. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks followed by four months ageing on lees in concrete vats.
Bright pale straw to straw colour with a watery hue. Pear, lime and Jonathan apple skin aromas evolve out of the glass followed by some delicate spice and wet stone notes. Moreish pear, lime and green apple fruits decorate the palate underscored by mouth watering acidity. Good intensity and generous texturally with wet stone and mineral elements threaded through the long refreshing finish.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
