Midnight black heart with a dark red black tinged hue. Black cherry and liquorice aromas mix with earthy graphite, dried herb and smoked meat notes. Medium weight the palate features juicy black cherry and liquorice fruits over a scorched earth and peppered dried herb back drop. Lively acidity and mildly chewy tannins with a savoury mid length finish.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.

A welcome confluence of fruit and savoury nuance, plum, cherry, tar, dried herbs, tomato leaf and clove. A dusting of fig, too. Really pleasing chew to the tannins and the swell of acidity through the finish makes me yearn for meats roasted over charcoal. Nice. Drink by 2029.
