Rich and plump with youthfully bright acidity and a juicy finish that has some pepper to it.
Matured in oak hogsheads for 12 months. Impenetrable inky black core with a near equally deep dark purple black tinged hue. Lifted plummy liquorice and blueberry aromas intermix with vanillin oak, earthy fennel and mint notes. Rich succulent dark plum, blueberry and liquorice fruits flood the plump medium to full bodied palate. Earthy fennel, vanillin cedar and spice elements sit in the background. Youthfully bright acidity and polished tannins with a juicy finish that has some pepper to it.
