2024 Paringa Estate Chardonnay

Mouth filling and texturally full with lively acidity lending an energised feel across the long finish.

Brilliant pale straw colour with gleaming green tinged edges and a watery hue. Pronounced nectarine and grapefruit aromas fill the nostrils followed by some biscuity oak, lemon butter and gun flint notes. The mouth filling palate is layered with concentrated nectarine, grapefruit and lemon butter flavours which overlay a subtle biscuity oak, citrusy nougat and gun flint infused back drop. A texturally full feel is counterpointed by lively acidity which lends an energised feel across the long finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

The 2023 Estate Chardonnay is pert and taut, with lemon rind, pink grapefruit, white peach, green apple and layers of crushed nuts and shells. This is a pretty wine, with persistent length and quiet intensity. Balanced and supple, it's driven by crystalline acidity. 13% alcohol, sealed under screw cap. Drink 2024-2033.
