2024 O’Leary Walker Polish Hill River Armagh Shiraz

Relatively simple flavour profile with muscular tannins, vibrant acidity and a slightly edgy mid length finish.

Matured in French oak hogsheads for 18 months. Impenetrable inky black colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Red to dark plum, red liquorice and confectionary scents mix with some spicy vanillin cedar notes. Medium to full in body, like the nose, the palate has a relatively simplistic fruit profile of sweet plums, raspberries and red liquorice. Spicy vanillin cedar elements sit in the background. Relatively muscular tannins combine with vibrant acidity to form a slightly edgy mid length finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
