2024 Muto Beechworth Syrah

Generous black cherry and liquorice fruits with a refined feel and savoury blackpepper laced conclusion.

From 20 year old vines with maturation taking place in French oak (20% new). Midnight black in colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Blackpepper infused aromas of black cherry and liquorice rise through the nostrils complimented by some smoky vanillin cedar, black olive and spicy dried meat notes. Mid weighted, the refined palate is detailed with generous black cherry and liquorice fruits which meld into a smoked meat, scorched earth and peppered dried herb backdrop. Fine grained tannins with a savoury blackpepper laced conclusion.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
