2024 Mt. Difficulty Bannockburn Pinot Noir

A juicy red to dark fruited Central Otago Pinot with a lengthy, well fleshed finish.

Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a dark red purple toned hue. Perfumed aromas of violet, dark cherry, plum and red liquorice blossom out of the glass trailed by some bramble, dried herb, rhubarb and spice notes. Juicy dark cherry, plum and rhubarb fruits decorate the palate with notions of red liquorice, subtle earthy bramble characters and spicy dried herbs sweeping across the back half. Polished tannins with fresh acidity lending an energetic feel across the lengthy, well fleshed finish.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.

A delicious and finely detailed pinot noir from the crew at Mt Difficulty in the subregion of Bannockburn. Magenta/ruby in the glass with floral-flecked cherry and plum fruits, hints of exotic spice, amaro, pomegranate, undergrowth and earth. Juicy and fruitful with layers of spice and stone, fine, silty tannins and plenty of draw to the bow of flavour. Lovely. Drink by 2030.
