Impenetrable inky black in colour with a very deep dark red black hue. Heady dark plum, liquorice and dark chocolate aromas mix with vanillin oak, earthy mocha and spice notes. Rich opulent dark plum, liquorice and dark chocolate flavours flood the weighty palate with vanillin oak and earthy mocha elements then moving across the back half. Youthful acidity with firm underlying tannins imparting a chewy feel. There’s an inkiness to the otherwise long, plush finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
