Contacto Alvarinho is made from the Alvarinho grape variety grown exclusively in the sub-region of Monção and Melgaço. The location of this sub-region provides it with a temperate climate, being surrounded by a range of mountains on the Spanish and Portuguese borders, which provides perfect condition for maturation of grapes.
Brilliant pale straw colour with a watery hue. Pronounced ripe pear, green apple and lime aromas are trailed by some wet stone and subtle saline notes. Brisk and lively with a river stone like feel, delicious pear, green apple and lime fruits overlay a wet slate and mineral laced back drop. Energetic acidity with a refreshing, saline edged finish.
