2024 Kate Hill Four Winds Estate Chardonnay

Nicely fleshed and concentrated with lively acidity lending freshness.

Matured for 9 months in French oak barrels. Brilliant pale straw colour with gleaming green tinted edges and a watery hue. Pronounced grapefruit and nectarine aromas combine with biscuit, bees wax, roasted almond and gun flint notes. Nectarine, pear and grapefruit flavours are nicely fleshed and concentrated in their flow. Biscuity oak, almond, subtle bees wax and infusions of gun flint echo across the back half. Lively acidity lends freshness to the long, shapely finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
