2024 Joseph Faiveley Bourgogne Pinot Noir
Burgundy, FRANCE
Light and elegant with delicious red fruits and a fresh, savoury finish.
Domaine Faiveley is one of the biggest domaines in Burgundy with the fruit for this Bourgogne being sourced mainly from plots situated in Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise.
Red to dark red core with black toned edges and a red to dark red hue. Fragrant violet, red cherry and red currant aromas intermix with hints of earth, dried herbs and subtle spicy rhubarb notes. Light and elegant, the delicious palate is detailed with red cherry and red currant fruits which meld into a gentle spicy cedar, earth and dried herb back drop. Fine grained tannins carry a slightly chalky feel. Finishes fresh and savoury with a lingering crunchy red fruit and spice aftertaste.
