2024 Jericho Selected Vineyards Grenache
A super juicy Grenache awash with red to dark raspberry, liquorice and ripe cherry fruits.
Semi translucent red to dark red colour with black toned edges and a light red hue. Fragrant raspberry and red liquorice aromas infused with fresh herbs are trailed by some scorched earth and pepper notes. Super juicy, the palate is awash with sumptuous red to dark raspberry, liquorice and ripe cherry fruits. Scorched earth and peppered herb characteristics form underneath. Velvet smooth yet underlyingly structural tannins with a long, succulent conclusion.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
Alc. 14%
Other Reviews……
From the home Bracken vineyard, the fruit is serious, from Blewitt Springs’ famous sandy soils, yet the mandate is early engagement and ready drinkability. Red fruits, cranberry, redcurrant and wild raspberry, along with a little black cherry, some anise, cola, cinnamon and amaro herbs. All is set at a medium pitch, accessible, approachable and delightful to drink, the structure supportive of standalone drinking and application at table. Drink by 2029.
