50% whole bunch fermented with maturation in second and third use French oak barriques for a period of 7 months. Dark red core with black toned edges and a red to dark red hue. Fragrant violet, strawberry and clove scents blossom out of the glass with forest floor, brambly cedar and spicy rhubarb notes following on. Delicious red to dark cherry and strawberry fruits intermix with clove, forest floor, brambly cedar and spice characters. Refined tannin structure with bright, lively acidity lending a fresh feel to the long juicy yet savoury finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
