2024 Heggies Vineyard Estate Chardonnay

Nicely fleshed yet elegant and fresh with a finish that’s both refined and focused.
Brilliant very pale straw colour with green highlighted edges and a watery hue. Refined aromatics of white peach and nectarine mix with faint whiffs of dried honey, biscuity nougat, cashew and gun flint. Nicely fleshed yet elegant and fresh in it’s feel, the palate features nectarine, white peach and citrus fruits over a delicate back drop of biscuity nougat and gun flint. Brisk acidity with a finish that’s both refined and focused.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

Light straw with cream-flecked white peach, nectarine and citrus fruits undercut with hints of white flowers, nougat and crème fraîche. A distant suggestion of struck flint, vanillin oak, almond paste, oatmeal and soft spice. Lightly textural on the palate with a touch of sour cream richness, a fine, lacy minerality and some really lovely focus as the wine trails off. Drink by 2032.
