A blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot matured in French oak for 13 months. Impenetrable black as night colour with a deep dark red black hue. Red to black currant and mulberry scents lead the way trailed by some cedary tobacco, dusty earth and bay leaf notes. Rich blackcurrant, liquorice and mulberry fruits carry medium body weight and good mid palate flesh over an earthy vanillin cedar, tobacco and bay leaf infused back drop. Fine grained tannins with a generously fruited yet elegant finish of ample length.
