2024 Handpicked Collection Tasmania Chardonnay

A generous, gently creamy textured Chardonnay with an energetic feel across its long, refined finish.

Certified Organic. Brilliant very pale straw colour with flashes of green around the surrounds and a watery hue. Aromas of nectarine, pear, dried honey and cashew drift through the nostrils followed by some biscuity nougat and faint gun flint notes. Generously fleshed pear and nectarine fruits meld into a back drop of cashew, dried honey, citrusy nougat and spice. Gently creamed texture with fresh acidity lending an energetic feel across the long, refined finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

Brightly coloured with aromas of white nectarine and citrus zest, together with attractive struck-match and flinty notes. The palate is flavoursome, balanced and taut, with a very fine line of acidity running through the wine. Finishes saline and long, and I can see this unfurling and becoming more complex over the next two to three years. Drink by 2032.
