2024 Bindi Wines Dhillon Glenhope Vineyard Chardonnay

Rich, concentrated and shapely yet brimming with freshness.

Sourced from 25-year-old vines in the granite-rich soils of northern Macedon Ranges, this Chardonnay highlights both place and precision. Wild yeast fermentation and ten months on solids and lees (with 30% new oak) mirror the approach used for the Bindi Chardonnays.
Brilliant pale straw colour with straw green tinged edges and a watery hue. Pronounced nectarine, peach and grapefruit scents evolve out of the glass complimented by whiffs of dried honey, biscuity oak and gun flint. Rich, concentrated and shapely yet brimming with freshness, the palate is decorated with fleshy peach, nectarine and grapefruit flavours. Infusions of gun flint, subtle dried honey and biscuity oak the undercard. Amply powered it finishes long and textural yet energetic.
