Matured on lees for a period of 8 months in seasoned and new (48%) French oak puncheons and barriques. Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Alluring aromas of white peach, dried honey and cashew are delivered with wonderful refinement and intensity. Biscuity nougat, crème brulee and subtle spicy bacon fat notes lend further sophistication. Rich and creamy textured yet showing sublime finesse, the palate is filled with fleshy white peach, nectarine, dried honey and cashew flavours. Lurking beneath are citrusy crème brulee like elements, biscuity nougat and spice. Vibrant, yet perfectly integrated acidity lends freshness to the long finish.
