2024 Bosward Semillon
Zippy lime juice and Granny Smith apple flavours with a long electric finish.
Brilliant pale straw colour with a faint greenish tinge around the outskirts and a watery hue. Lime juice and green apple skin aromas are trailed by pear juice and citrusy bees wax like notes. Zippy lime juice and Granny Smith apple flavours are underscored by mandarin, wet steel and flinty mineral elements. Crunchy acidity imparting a tangy feel onto the long electric finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
Alc. 12.5%
Other Reviews…..
Winemaker Reid Bosward knows a thing or two about Barossa semillon and I'm loving the rendition he's putting out under his nascent Bosward wine label. Crisp, tautly stretched, it's a textural, lemony ride with hints of fresh lime, citrus zest, green apple, white flowers, clover, crushed rock and cut fennel. Crisp, lightly slinky and full of energy. Drink by 2038.
