2024 Atze’s Corner Opulent Shiraz

A rich, succulent Barossa Shiraz that shows plenty of spice.

Aged for 16 months in a mix of American and French oak. Dense inky black heart with a deep dark red black hue. Intense dark plum and liquorice aromas fill the nostrils with some black cherry, subtlety toasted vanillin oak, fennel and peppered earth notes also chiming in. Rich spicy dark plum, liquorice and black cherry fruits carry a juicy feel across the palate. Fennel, vanillin cedar and peppered earth elements sit in the background. Polished yet underlyingly sturdy tannin structure concluding succulent and spicy.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
