2024 Antinori Villa Antinori Toscana Bianco

A scrumptious dry Italian white with a river stone like mouth feel.

Villa Antinori Bianco is a historic wine from the Antinori family, first produced by Niccolò Antinori in 1931. The label and production philosophy, focused on representing the wine's origin, have remained largely unchanged. The grapes are destemmed, delicately pressed, and the must is fermented and matured in stainless steel tanks until bottling.
Brilliant pale straw colour with a faint greenish tinge to the edges and a watery hue. Delightful pear and red apple scents sail through the nostrils followed by some lime, subtle quince and wet stone notes. Scrumptious pear, red apple and lime fruits are delivered with plenty of intensity over a back drop of fresh herb infusions and wet stone. River stone like mouth feel and a dry finish of ample length that’s quite moreish.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
