2023 Ravensworth Estate Sangiovese

A light Sangiovese with sour to red fruit, tangy acidity and slightly chalky tannins.

Dark red core with black shaded edges and a dark red tinged hue. Dark fruited aromas of currants and cherries intermingle with some earthy leather, amaro and spice notes. Light in body, sour to red cherry and red currant fruits make a supple entrance. Blood orange, amaro, earth and spicy dried herb elements are also present. Tangy acidity with slightly chalky tannins lingering across the mid length finish.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
