A light to medium bodied Pinot that has good flesh, slightly grainy tannins and a savoury finish.
Matured for 10 months in older French oak. Deep dark red core with black toned edges and a dark red hue. Spicy dark to black cherry and anise aromas carry a graphite like overlay with some clove, rhubarb and earthy black olive accents also evident. Light to medium bodied, dark to black cherry, anise and rhubarb flavours show good flesh. Earth, dried herb and spice elements lie underneath. Slightly grainy tannins with a savoury mid length finish.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
