Rich and juicy yet tense and inky in its feel with a muscular tannin structure and vibrant acidity.
Matured for 12 months in French oak. Impenetrable inky black heart with a vibrant dark red black tinged hue. Intense blackberry, liquorice and ripe black cherry scents flood the nostrils followed by some scorched earth, spicy vanillin cedar and blackpepper notes. Rich and juicy yet tense and inky in its feel, the medium to full bodied palate is awash with blackberry and liquorice fruits. Subtle black cherry, vanillin cedar, crushed rock and blackpepper elements the undercard. Muscular
tannin structure and vibrant acidity with a slightly chalky yet generously fruited finish.
