Impenetrable inky black heart with a deep dark purple black tinged hue. Flooding the nostrils are pepper infused aromas of blackberry and liquorice followed by some dark plum, scorched earth, vanillin cedar and spicy fennel notes. Rich and concentrated, spicy blackberry, liquorice and dark plum fruits make a plush entrance onto the full bodied palate. Vanillin cedar, scorched earth, fennel and black pepper elements line the back half. Powerful and deep it has a sturdy tannin structure and finishes long, densely fruited and muscular.
