A delicious example of the famous Rhône blend done McLaren Vale style. Three parcels from different vineyards across McLaren Vale have been blended after fermentation in small open fermenters, before ten months maturation in older French oak hogsheads. The name refers to the two gentlemen, *** and *, who founded ***. An inky dark maroon hue, the nose gives us notes of black fruits, mocha, coffee beans, cloves and leather with a sweet core of chocolate. This is bold, rich and ripe, with silky tannins and a lingering finish. An excellent McLaren Vale red which will bring joy over the next four to eight years. Drink 2024-2032.

It's delightfully fruited and inviting, showing dark plum, sweet cherry, olive, nutmeg and rich floral aromas. The palate delivers excellent weight and plush texture, wonderfully framed by layer of polished tanning, finishing wonderfully long and structured.
