It pours with a vibrant garnet colour that is very inviting. Good signs. Crisp and crunchy textured, lighter-weight sangiovese follows, with bright, red cherry fruit character, cranberry tang, pomegranate sweet-sour fruitiness following on. A good dusting of spice with blood orange tang to finish. Energetic, frisky, delicious and nouveau in style, this is an absolute ripper of a drink, with simplicity on hand.
