Dense pitch black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Aromas of dark plum and liquorice fill the nostrils followed by some smoky vanillin oak and peppered dried herb notes. Rich plum and liquorice flavours are quickly swamped by prominent toasty vanillin oak characters which dominate through the finish. Polished tannins and bright acidity with some spice also evident.
