Rich, lush and weighty with a long, sumptuous finish.
Matured in 60% new French oak for a period of 14 months. Midnight black core with a deep dark red hue. Expressive ripe blackberry and liquorice aromas are complimented by some black cherry, vanillin cedar, earthy dark chocolate and spicy fennel notes. Rich and lush, the weighty palate is swept away in a wave of succulent blackberry, liquorice and dark plum fruits. Showing ample freshness and velvety tannins, notions of vanillin cedar and spicy fennel linger through the long, sumptuous finish.
