2023 Jean-Paul & Benoit Droin Vaudesir Chablis Grand Cru
Other Reviews....
Once again there is just enough wood to merit pointing out serving as a relatively neutral backdrop to the vaguely exotic aromas of white peach, passion fruit and quinine. The super-sleek and refined, even delicate, middle weight flavors possess fine punch along with a fine bead of minerality that adds a sense of lift to the balanced and sneaky long finish. Once again, this would benefit from developing more depth but it's extremely stylish. Drink through 2031+.

Exhibiting notes of sweet white peach, spring flowers, hazelnuts and pastry cream, Droin's 2023 Chablis Grand Cru Vaudésir is medium to full-bodied satiny and suave, with a quintessentially elegant, textural profile. It's even more expressive and aromatic than the 2022, despite its more recent bottling. Drink 2025-2043.
