2023 Hahndorf Hill Reserve Gruner Veltliner

Intensely flavoured and textural with vibrant acidity lending freshness to the long enveloping finish.

Brilliant pale straw colour with flashes of green around the edges and a watery hue. Nosing reveals aromas of lime, pear and grapefruit followed by hints of guava and wet stone. Intense pear, red apple and lime fruits are layered across the palate with plenty of textural presence. Some fleshy peach and stony mineral elements lie underneath. Vibrant acidity lending freshness to the long enveloping finish.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.

Complex aromas of Asian pears, white rose petals, lemon confit and talcum powder with a minerally and saline edge. The palate is mid-weighted and textural, with a great core of fruit, a creamy mouthfeel and a slight phenolic grip. Made from the oldest gruner vines on the estate and fully barrel fermented.
