Matured in French and American oak. Deep black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Aniseed and blackberry scents are interwoven with some ripe blueberry, smoky cedar and peppered earth notes. The mid weighted palate portraits a cool climate elegance with fleshy plum and liquorice fruits melding into a back drop of smoky fennel and peppered earth elements. Fine grained tannins finishing relatively fresh and savoury with a refined feel.
