2023 Gilberts Riesling

Tense and taut with crisp, racy acidity finishing very dry and steely.

Brilliant water like core with greenish tinged edges. Leaping from the glass are zesty lime, lemon and orange rind scents which are followed by some mandarin and steely mineral notes. Tense and tautly structured, crisp, racy acidity provides laser like focus to the lemon, lime zest and Granny Smith apple fruit. Chalky talc, wet steel and flinty mineral elements ensue. Finishes very dry and steely.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
