2023 Derwent Estate Chardonnay

Rich with a round, subtlety creamed texture and well fleshed finish that has an energetic feel.

Matured in French oak, 25% new. Brilliant pale straw colour with green tinted edges and a watery hue. Enticing ripe peach, nectarine and dried honey aromas sail through the nostrils followed by some citrusy nougat, crème brulee and gentle spice notes. Rich with a round, subtlety creamed texture, the mid weighted palate is layered with white peach, nectarine and citrusy nougat flavours. Some dried honey, cashew, biscuit and spice elements sit underneath. Fresh integrated acidity providing the well fleshed finish with an energetic feel.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
