2023 Dandelion Vineyards Lionheart of the Barossa Shiraz

Opulently textured yet youthfully fresh with a long seductive finish.

Matured in some new but predominately older French oak barriques for a period of 18 months. Dense inky black dark purple colour with a deep dark purple black tinged hue. Pronounced dark plum, liquorice and blackberry aromas flood the nostrils followed by some fennel, spicy vanillin cedar and peppered earth notes. Rich juicy blackberry, liquorice and dark plum fruits burst across the palate with notions of vanillin cedar, fennel and subtle peppered earth elements the support act. Opulently textured yet youthfully fresh, it has polished tannins and a long seductive finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
