2023 Cape Mentelle Marmaduke Cabernet Sauvignon

Youthful mid weighted Cabernet that carries good flesh and an inky feel.

Dense inky black core with a vibrant dark red black tinged hue. Spicy red to black currant and mulberry aromas infused with a mix of black olive, bay leaf and earthy tobacco notes greet the nostrils. Rich blackcurrant and ripe mulberry fruits carry good flesh and an inky feel across the youthful mid weighted palate. Earthy tobacco, black olive and spicy bay leaf infusions the undercard. Slightly chalky tannins and bright acidity with a medium to long, generously fruited finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
