Rated 97 points by Italian wine critic Luca Maroni, this is made from a blend of Corvina, Corvionne and Rondinella grapes. Deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Earthy dried cherry, black cherry, liquorice, vanillin spice, cinnamon and subtle leather aromas drift out of the glass. Rich dark cherry, liquorice, dark chocolate and vanilla flavours meld into a back drop of earth and cinnamon spice. Firm, slightly dryish tannins. Dark fruited, mid length finish that some earth and vanillin spice accents to it.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
