2023 Buckshot Vineyard Heathcote Primitivo

Rich, plush and spicy with a long, pepper laced conclusion.

Very deep black dark red core with a dark red hue. Black plum, liquorice and mint aromas drift through the olfactory senses followed by some vanillin cedar, peppered earth and fennel notes. Rich, plush and spicy, the medium to full bodied palate is layered with juicy black plum, liquorice and luscious black cherry fruits. Mint, earthy fennel and pepper characters are in hot pursuit. Polished tannins with a long, fleshy pepper laced conclusion.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
