2023 Beechworth Wine Estates Chardonnay

Rich, full and creamy textured with a long opulent finish.

Fermented in 500 litre French oak barrels (30% new) then matured on lees for 10 months. Brilliant pale straw colour with a distinct green tint to the edges and a watery hue. Soaring from the glass are intense ripe peach, nectarine and honeycomb aromas which are complimented by crème brulee, hints of butterscotch and spicy nougat. Rich, full and creamy textured, the mouth is engulfed with ripe fleshy peach, nectarine, honeycomb and crème brulee flavours. Subtle bacon fat and citrusy nougat elements sit in the background. A lick of brisk acidity freshens up the long opulent finish.
